Dr. Tadesse Kassa Woldetsadik

Dr. Tadesse Kassa Woldetsadik is Associate Professor of International Law at Addis Ababa University (Ethiopia) and Senior Legal and Policy Advisor to the Ethiopian Investment Commission. He had previously served as Dean of the School of Law, Bahar Dar University and Dean of the College of Law and Governance Studies, Addis Ababa University. Dr. Tadesse is former Visiting Scholar at the Xiangtan University (China), Martin Luther University of Halle Wittenberg (Germany) and Fulbright Visiting Scholar at UC Berkeley. He has researched and published extensively on various issues of international water law, human rights law and refugee laws; he is author of the book titled International Watercourses Law in the Nile Basin, Three States at a Crossroads (Routledge, Oxfordshire 2013), and has co-authored two edited books, namely, Ethiopian-African Perspectives on Human Rights and Good Governance (N¬WV Pub., Graz, Austria 2014) and Implementation of International Human Rights Commitments and the Impact on Ongoing Legal Reforms in Ethiopia (BRILL, Netherlands February 2020).
